ABOUT ME

 

Hi, I am Jacobine and studio jacobine is my creative playground. I design patterns with a handmade base and love to create collections and develop products with my patterns.

 

I am educated as an Interior and Graphic Designer at Willem de Kooning Art Academy in Rotterdam. After graduating, I developed myself as a creative strategist and senior leader, specialized in Retail and Interior Design. I worked more than 14 years for one of the biggest Home Furnishing retailers in the world and then I decided it was time for new adventures, studio jacobine is one of them.

As long as I can remember I have had a fascination for patterns. I love how they give character and expression to a room, outfit or product, sometimes subtly and sometimes abundantly.

 

I'm currently developing products with my patterns, as well as collaborating with others for custom made patterns for companies and brands.
